Privacy Policy
Effective from 7 August 2026
We respect the privacy of our visitors. This website is designed to collect as little data as possible: it requires no accounts, contains no forms, uses no marketing or analytics cookies, and serves fonts and other assets from our own server. Below we honestly describe the little that we actually process.
1. Data controller

We do not profile visitors and make no automated decisions. We never sell any data. Delivery orders are handled by independent platforms (Pyszne.pl, Wolt, Bolt Food) — when you use them, you contract with the platform, which then acts as a separate controller of your data.
3. Cookies and similar technologies
This website uses no marketing or analytics cookies — which is why we do not display a consent banner. We only use:
- an essential session cookie in the administration panel — it concerns restaurant staff managing the lunch menu only and expires when the browser is closed,
- browser local storage to remember interface preferences (e.g. dark mode) and a local copy of the lunch menu — this information stays on your device and is not transmitted to us.
4. Recipients of data
- home.pl S.A. (Szczecin, Poland) — website hosting and server logs,
- Ahrefs Pte. Ltd. (Singapore) — cookieless visit statistics; transfers outside the EEA are based on Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission,
- Google Ireland Ltd. — delivery of the Google Tag Manager script and, after you click the map, the Google Maps service; see the Google Privacy Policy.
5. How long we keep data
- server logs — for the period set by our hosting provider, typically up to several dozen days,
- correspondence and reservation details — until the matter is resolved, then for as long as necessary to demonstrate proper handling (no longer than the law requires),
- Ahrefs statistics — in aggregated form only, with no data on individuals.
6. Your rights
To the extent we process your data, you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection to processing based on legitimate interest. Please send requests to kontakt@pikanteria.waw.pl — we reply within one month at the latest.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the President of the Personal Data Protection Office (PUODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw, uodo.gov.pl.
7. Voluntary provision of data
Providing data is always voluntary. Without contact details we simply will not be able to answer your enquiry or take a phone reservation.
8. Changes to this policy
Any change to this policy will be announced by publishing a new version at this address together with its effective date.
