19 years of flavour, music and good company

At the corner of Walecznych and Londyńska, where Saska Kępa tastes its best

Our Story

How it began

It all began nineteen years ago, when in the heart of Saska Kępa a dream was born: a place that would combine old Polish hospitality with the atmosphere of a pre-war literary salon. Over the years, Pikanteria has witnessed thousands of engagements, Sunday dinners and long conversations over wine.

We have already served more than one hundred thousand of our famous ducks, and every recipe on our menu grows from long exploration, respect for Polish culinary tradition and the need to give it our own contemporary touch. We are from here, for you, building a local community that loves life, good food and music from the heart.

Modern Polish cuisine

Recipes rooted in tradition, served our way

Our menu is a tribute to Polish culinary tradition, told with freshness and a contemporary touch. From aromatic borscht and kołduny to game prepared with care and a modern sense of flavour.

A special day at Pikanteria is our “Wild Sundays” — a time when forest gifts reign on the tables and eating together becomes a ritual that brings families around one long table.

Tradition

Polish Liqueur Committee

Pikanteria is not only food, but also a culture of noble spirits. Every year our walls host the “Polish Liqueur Committee” — a unique competition where home makers and enthusiasts present their liquid works of art.

The year 2025 brought a record number of entries and flavour compositions we had never seen before. The winning rosehip liqueur and wormwood liqueur with forest honey are now available to taste at our bar.
